An Aloha Browser alternative for iPhone
Blank is an alternative to Aloha Browser for people whose main worry is someone else using their phone. Both block ads and download videos. Blank adds its own passcode for the whole app, an encrypted vault that never touches Photos, separate spaces with separate passcodes, and an AI that runs on your iPhone.
Download Blank freeWhat Aloha does well
Aloha's App Store listing describes a free built-in VPN with more than 80 server locations, automatic ad blocking, a downloader for videos and files with a biometric lock for downloads, a private AI assistant, and bookmark and tab sync through an Aloha account. Aloha Premium adds a VPN for the whole device and costs $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year.
What Blank does differently
- One lock for everything. Blank opens with its own passcode, separate from your iPhone passcode, and the lock covers every tab, the history, the vault, passwords, and AI chats.
- A vault outside Photos. Downloads go only to an encrypted vault inside Blank. They never appear in Photos, Files, Recently Deleted, or iCloud.
- Spaces. Each space has its own tabs, vault, and passcode. A space's passcode opens only that space, with no sign that other spaces exist.
- AI on your iPhone. Blank AI writes its answers on the phone, and your chats are stored only there.
- Email addresses inside the app. Blank makes an address for each sign-up, and the mail arrives in Blank, not in your real inbox.
- No account. Blank has no sign-in at all.
